PARTICIPATE IN PROJECT VORTEX

We are building our list of artists (at least 1 on every continent — yourself included, we hope) who have said they would like to participate in this long-term project. The goal is that any work made and sold that is largely from “vortex” plastic via Project Vortex’s collaboration with Project Kaisei would give 50% of the proceeds to the continued removal of the debris from the ocean. Eventually, we will do exhibitions as our team also includes talented curators who are in the process of developing exhibitions to showcase PV coalition artists. We will feature an “online gallery” on our website of all the works made and available by each artist for sale.

Currently, we are putting a Google map that will link our database of artists together on our website, which will enable exhibits and other types collaborations to take place in multiple cities. As our organization grows, we hope to offer grants and fiduciary support to those whose projects support the PV Mission.
